  • What type of in-home care services do you offer?
Our service offering can be as unique as the needs of each family and its members. We understand that not everyone has the same preferences or needs which is why we will work with you to create a care plan that meets your unique situation. For more information, please visit In-Home Care & Assistance.
  • Where are your services available?
We currently provide services in the Phoenix, Arizona Metro Area. We are expanding our service area and will make an announcement once new areas of service are available.
  • What types of caregivers are available?
Our Companion Care and Personal Care Teams are made up of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and certified Home Health Aides (HHA).
  • Are your caregivers (CNA & HAA) insured and bonded?
Yes. All of our caregivers are insured and bonded. All Companion Care and Personal Care team members undergo a criminal background investigation and are covered by General Liability and Workers' Compensation insurance.
  • Do I need a physician to authorize your in-home care services?
No. You have the flexibility to choose what services you would like and their duration.
  • Will insurance or Medicare cover your services?
Medicare and private insurance (such as LTC insurance) may provide coverage based on your policy and your ability to meet specific requirements of coverage. Medicare Part A and Part B do not cover in-home care while Part C (Medicare Advantage) has some inclusions for coverage. There are other funding options that we could discuss with you if your insurance does not provide proper coverage.
  • How much does your in-home care service cost?
As part of the initial orientation, we will conduct a ULife Health Care Assessment which allows you and your family to share preferences and needs. We will align those preferences and needs with our services to help understand what your unique care plan will include and the associated costs. There are never any hidden costs or fees. You will know exactly your cost before any services are provided.
  • Do you handle billing insurance providers?
We do not bill insurance providers directly. If you are planning to use private insurance (i.e. LTC) and require assistance, we will help coordinate benefits and provide related and necessary documentation required for reimbursement.
  • How is a caregiver chosen? Do I have a choice?
As part of the ULife Health Care Assessment we will make an initial determination of which caregivers fit best. Yes. You have a choice. You will be giving the opportunity to choose from that list of caregivers. If at any time you would like to give another caregiver the opportunity to provide services you may do so.
  • Will the same caregiver provide services throughout the duration of my care plan?
We will make every effort to ensure consistency of the caregiver(s) throughout the entirety of your care plan. It is our goal to build trust between our caregivers and you and your family. There may be scenarios such as weekends and evenings that require an additional Care Team Member be assigned. In these cases we will continue to align preferences and needs with our caregivers to ensure the entire Care Team delivers exceptional in-home care. If changes are required to the Care Team we will work with you and your family to ensure the standard for care is met.
